Dena Cordova-Jack has just contributed an article to LBM Journal (the Lumber and Building Material Magazine) with info on how the Lumber and Building Materials industry is handling the current Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic. Here’s an excerpt:
“Your associations are working at the state, regional and federal levels to ensure the health of the LBM industry. We also are working in conjunction with the National Lumber and Building Materials Dealers Association in Washington, D.C., as well as other associations affiliated with LBM. As it stands now, the Department of Homeland Security has designated the LBM industry operations as “essential” and “life sustaining”, and their guidance has been sent to all state governors”
Mountain States Lumber & Building Material Dealers Association has provided legislative advocacy, education, and leadership development for the lumber and building materials industry since 1891. We serve Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. To learn more, visit https://mslbmda.org.
